Don't be a horror, come to school!

Get ready for Spike's Halloween Challange, taking place from 3 September - 19 October 2007. 

Your school needs to have the highest attendance for the half term and if   you succeed you could win a Halloween party with Spike!

Spike and his friends will come to your school on Hallween (or as near as possible) and provided a fun-filled spooky party! 

There will be:

• Creepy crafts
• Guess the ghost's name
• Spooky fancy dress (with a prize for the best costume!)
• Scary quiz

...and lots more fun!

You will receive a postcard in September, so you can keep track of your own attendance. Remember to encourage your friends to be in school as much as possible! 

Spike's Sunflower Competition...

In Newsletter 7 Spike asked you to draw him a special flower for his summer garden.  He received bags of entries!

Spike's SATs Challenge!

During SATs in May, Spike ran a competition for all Year 2 and Year 6 children in Sunderland to win an iPod Shuffle! 

All children had to to do was be in school every day during SATs

weekto be entered into the prize draw.

1st Prize was won by Jordan Foster from St Paul's CE Primary School

Plus, there was a runner up selected from every school.
